10/30/18: Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie by Jay and the Americans, Little Green Apples by Patti Page and One Bad Apple by The Osmonds. The theme was songs about apples because of National Apple Month.

10/23/18: Secret Agent Man by Johnny Rivers, Mission Impossible by Lalo Schifrin and Welcome Back by John Sebastian. The theme was TV themes that hit the Billboard charts.

10/16/18: Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino, Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie by Jay and The Techniques and Jambalaya (On the Bayou) by The Carpenters. The theme was songs about food because of World Food Day.

10/9/18: Take A Letter Maria by R. B. Greaves, Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours) by Stevie Wonder and Mr. Postman by The Marvelettes. The theme was songs about mail because of World Post Day.

10/2/18: Jessie’s Girl by Rick Springfield, The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia by Vicki Lawrence and Johnny Angel by Shelley Fabares. The theme was Classic TV stars who all had No. 1 hits.

9/25/18: No Triple Threat Tuesday due to KWPO's One and Done Weekend

9/18/18: Yes, I'm Ready by Teri DeSario, People Get Ready by Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart and Get Ready by The Temptations. The theme was songs about readiness for Get Ready Day.

9/11/18: Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning) by Alan Jackson, Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly by Aaron Tippin and Meet Me in the Stairwell by Unknown Artist. (Honoring 9/11)

9/6/18: Be My Life’s Companion by The Mills Brothers, Silver Thread and Golden Needles by Linda Ronstadt and Coat of Many Colors by Dolly Parton. The theme was songs about sewing. (Sewing Month)

9/4/18: Triple Threat Tuesday postponed to Thursday (9/6/18)

8/28/18: Rainbow Connection by The Muppets, Over the Rainbow by Judy Garland and Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows by Lesley Gore. The theme was songs about rainbows. (Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day)
8/21/18: Be My Baby by The Ronettes, Wipe Out by The Surfaris and (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes. The theme was songs featured in the movie Dirty Dancing. (Dirty Dancing released today in 1987)

8/14/18: Money, Money, Money by ABBA, Money for Nothing by Dire Straits and She Works Hard for the Money by Donna Summer. The theme was songs about money. (National Financial Awareness Day) 

8/7/18: Octopus’ Garden by The Beatles, Fishing in the Dark by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Fishin’ Blues by John Martyn. The theme was songs about fishing. (Fishing Month)

7/31/18: Diana by Paul Anka, Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles and Wake Up Little Susie by The Everly Brothers. The theme was songs with girls names in them. (preview to My Girl weekend)

7/24/18: Abraham, Martin and John by Dion, Charlie Brown by The Coasters and Jack and Diane by John Cougar Mellencamp. The theme was songs with boys names in them. (preview to Let’s Hear It For the Boys weekend coming up this weekend)

7/17/18: Superfreak by Rick James, Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel and You're So Vain by Carly Simon. The theme was artists with two first names.

7/10/18: Return to Pooh Corner Kenny Loggins, (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear by Elvis Presley, The Teddy Bear Song by Barbara Fairchild. The theme was songs about bears. (Teddy Bear Picnic Day)

7/3/18: Cow Bells and Coffee Beans by Henry Mancini, Boston Beans by Peggy Lee, Beans for Breakfast by Johnny Cash. The theme was songs about beans. (Eat Beans Day)

6/26/18: Day-O (The Banana Boat Song) by Harry Belafonte, Orange Blossom Special by Johnny Cash and Vegetables by The Beach Boys. The theme was songs with fruit or vegetables in the title. (Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month)

6/21/18: Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by Elton John, Hot Hot Hot by Buster Poindexter and The Heat Is On by Glenn Frey. The theme was songs about summer. (The first day of Summer)

6/19/18: Kiss on My List by Hall & Oates, Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me by Mel Carter and The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss) by Betty Everett. The theme was songs about kissing. (National Kissing Day)

6/12/18: Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison, Rose Garden by Lynn Anderson and Paper Roses by Marie Osmond. The theme was songs with rose in the title. (Red Rose Day) 

6/5/18: Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) by Marvin Gaye, Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell and In the Year 2525 by Zager & Evans. The theme was songs about the environment. (World Environment Day) 

5/29/18: Night Moves by Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, I Feel the Earth Move by Carly Simon and Movin' Out (Anthony's Song) by Billy Joel. The theme was songs with move in the title. (National Moving Month) 

5/22/18:  Bang the Drum All Day by Todd Rundgren, Green Tambourine by The Lemon Pipers and The Happy Organ by Dave Cortez. The theme was songs with musical instruments in the title. (Buy a Musical Instrument Day)

5/15/18: The Ballad of the Green Berets by Barry Sadler, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by The Andrews Sisters, In the Navy by Village People. The theme was songs about Military for Military Appreciation Month.   

5/8/18: One by Three Dog Night, One Headlight by The Walflowers, and One Bad Apple by The Osmonds. The theme was songs with the number one in the title celebrating our first anniversary.  

5/1/18: No Triple Threat Tuesday due to technical issues.

4/24/18: Memory by Barbra Streisand, You Don't Bring Me Flowers by Barbra & Neil and I Finally Found Someone by Bryan Adams & Barbra Streisand. The theme was songs by Barbra Streisand. (Celebrating her birthday)

4/10/18: (They Long to Be) Close to You by The Carpenters, ABC by The Jackson 5 and One Bad Apple by The Osmonds. The theme was songs by siblings. (Sibling Day)

4/3/18:  Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows by Lesley Gore, True Colors by Phil Collins and Over the Rainbow by Judy Garland. The theme was songs about colors. (Find a Rainbow Day)

3/27/18: I Am Woman by Helen Reddy, I'm Every Woman by Chaka Khan, and I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. The theme was Songs by Women. (celebrating Women's History Month)

3/20/18: No Triple Threat Tuesday due to technical difficulties  

3/13/18: Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds by The Beatles, Emerald Eyes by Fleetwood Mac, and Ruby Tuesday by The Rolling Stones. The theme was Jewels or Precious Stones.

3/6/18: Ahab the Arab by Ray Stevens, A Boy Named Sue by Johnny Cash, and Barbie Girl by Aqua. The theme was unique names. (celebrating Unique Names Day)

2/1/18-2/28/18: No Triple Threat Tuesday due to the Month of Love

1/30/18: Stop In The Name Of Love by Diana Ross & The Supremes, Roll Over Beethoven by Chuck Berry, and I Get Around by The Beach Boys. The theme was Popular music artists that have never won a Grammy. (Celebrating the 60th Grammy Awards that happened on 1/29.) 

1/23/18: These Boots Are Made For Walkin' by Nancy Sinatra, Get On Your Feet by Gloria Estefan, and Footloose by Kenny Loggins. The theme was songs with feet in the title. (Celebrating National Measure Your Feet Day)

1/16/18: Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You by Glen Medeiros, Making Love Out Of Nothing At All by Air Supply, and Nothing From Nothing by Billy Preston. The theme was Nothing. (Celebrating National Do Nothing Day)

1/9/18: I Fought The Law by The Bobby Fuller Four, I Shot The Sheriff by Eric Clapton, and Every Breath You Take by The Police. The theme was Law Enforcement. (Celebrating Law Enforcement Appreciation Day)

1/2/18: Heaven Is A Place On Earth by Belinda Carlisle, Dust In The Wind by Kansas, and Ring Of Fire by Johnny Cash. The theme was Earth, Wind and Fire (Celebrating the groups appearance at the Rose Parade Jan. 1st)

12/19/17: Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer by Gene Autry, Grandma Go Runover By A Raindeer by Elmo & Patsy, I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas by Gayla Peevey, and The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) by The Chipmunks. The theme was Christmas songs about animals. (The only Triple Threat Tuesday for Christmas) 

11/28/17: No Triple Threat Tuesday (Due to Christmas Music)

11/21/17: Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing by Chris Rice, Come Ye Thankful People Come by The OCM Choir, and Table Of Plenty by John Michael Talbot. The theme was songs for Thanksgiving. 

11/14/17: No Triple Threat Tuesday

11/7/17: One Piece At A Time by Johnny Cash, Drive by The Cars, and 18 Wheels On A Big Rig by Trout Fishing In America. The Theme was songs about cars or car parts.

10/31/17: Casper The Friendly Ghost by James Horner, The Munsters Theme by Jack Marshall, and The Addams Family Theme by Vic Mizzy. The theme was TV Themes for Halloween

10/24/17: Life Is A Highway by Tim Crochane, On The Road Again by Willie Nelson, and Should I Stay Or Should I Go by The Clash. The Theme was Traveling. 

10/17/17: Method Of Modern Love by Hall & Oates, Respect by Aretha Franklin, and Lola by The Kinks. The theme was songs that spell out part of their title in the lyrics.
10/10/17: Africa by Toto, Ahab the Arab by Ray Stevens, and Surfin' U.S.A by The Beach Boys. The theme was songs with continents and countries in their title.
10/3/17: 99 Luftballons by Nena, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover by Paul Simon, and Knock Three Times by Tony Orlando & Dawn. The theme was Numbers.
